Eligibility

NTA will make the CUET 2025 eligibility requirements available at the same time as the admission announcement. Following are the eligibility requirements from past years:

  • For the general category, candidates must receive at least 50% of the possible points, and for SC/ST candidates, 45%..
  • The candidates must have the same subjects in Class 12 to pursue it professionally in Delhi University.

Admission Procedure

To gain admission to the University of Delhi, candidates must participate in CUET for the Languages/Domain-Specific Subjects they studied or completed in Class 12. They will need to align their Class 12 subjects with those they appeared for in CUET (UG) during the admission process.

a) Section I: Language Test

  • Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension [based on different types of passages – Factual, literary and narrative, (Literary aptitude and vocabulary)]
  • Number of Questions: 40 out of 50 questions to be attempted
  • Exam Duration: 45 minutes for each language

b) Section II: Domain Specific Test

  • Maximum 6 out of a total of 27 Domain-specific tests to be chosen.
  • Number of Questions: 40 out of 50 questions to be attempted
  • Exam Duration: 45 minutes for each Domain-specific subjects
